Thank you!

The Gimme that Track hook is catchy... DAMN YOU!!

AxTekk responds:

Hahaha, thanks broski! My dream is that Lil C gets his stuck in his head.

Decent lyrics, but you sound like Stephen Hawking.

Sc0rChP0KnEe responds:

Better than sounding like he can't rap.

Well, at least my new raps are half as good as my old ones.

AxTekk responds:

I said twice as good, broseph.

Good luck in March brackets, things are looking to get interesting.

Do you read Shakespeare the same way you read your lyrics? Duh-DA, duh-DA, duh-DA, duh-DA: you've got iambic pentameter down, now try mixing it up a little bit.

MCRaven responds:

The pentameter is your heartbeat getting quicker and quicker as the time for you and I to go head to head draws near. Best of luck noble adversary!

The production is amazing, and verges on the professional. The track just feels like it goes on and on, which is fine if there's five minutes on action happening on-screen, but for this kind of generic-y action music, succinct is usually better.

Unfortunately, the only real change in tone is the few seconds around 1:50, where it gets mellow. The rest of the track is just bang-bang-bang, cymbal crash, tom-tom-tom. A little more variation in tone would have made the track more enjoyable, in my opinion, especially for a piece that's over 5 minutes in length.

EvilRaccoon responds:

Thanks very much RampantM. You always help me out with your reviews and make me think in new directions. Im always trying to improve and your comments really help me consider what else I could do, really appreciate it.

:)

Love it. This track is very reminiscent of Danny Elfman, so much so, it got to the point that while judging I actually had to check my iTunes library to make sure it wasn't stolen audio!

It's also one of my favorite entries from the contest since this style is very close to my own natural cinematic style.

This is very, very classic 80s/90s Danny Elfman. And I love it.

mmoscat responds:

Thank you very much! :-D
Yeah, I actually got inspired after watching Edward Scissorhands and I wanted to do something in the style of traditional Elfman, I'm glad you liked it!

That's cute, except you don't release oxygen. You inhale oxygen, and it is used during the Krebs Cycle (Citric Acid Cycle) to create tricarboxylic acid which is then used to create energy in the form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). The byproducts of the Krebs Cycle are water and carbon dioxide. Therefore, the CO2 that you release is toxic -- which is a no-brainer, because people can't breathe carbon dioxide.

Next time, do your biology homework.

HeIsAlive responds:

I was not talking about exhaling oxygen man. Learn to read in between the lines bud, then get back at me, lol. Idiot.

Release and exhale are two different words, I would have used exhale is I was specifically trying to get that notion across.

From dictionary.com
Release
4 ) Law . to give up, relinquish, or surrender (a right, claim, etc.).

I hope I get you in the first round. Easy win lol.

You freestyle better than most people rap when they have 3 days to write lyrics :3 It's almost unfair! :P

Gasmasq responds:

Time & Practice, sir!

I think the one word per line bit went on a bit too long, kinda detracted from the rest of the rap.
